THE three stable runners today at Yarmouth, Trust Me (2.35pm), Red Cossack and Dor’s Law (both 4.45pm) are all priced up around 33/1 today, which probably reflects their chances…or does it?
Trust Me is one of nine runners in the 6f novice and the drop back from a mile on his debut at Windsor, when he pulled hard, should suit this 3yo son of Shamardal. While the hot favourite and previous winner, Archer’s Dream is a hot odds-on favourite and quite possibly the most likely winner, 33/1 is a big each-way shot for the stable runner. Robert Winston rides.
Red Cossack and Dors Law, the mounts of Joey Haynes and Robert Winston respectively are harder 33/1 shots to justify taking a second look at in the mile handicap as they have only won two races between them in 66 collective starts! Having said that, the yard has had some big price winners this year. Both have the ability to feature if on a going day but Dor’s Law has been off the track for 189 days and Red Cossack never seems to make life easy for himself.
