ACCLAIM AND FLYER THE PICK OF IVORY SEXTET

Stake Acclaim - well supported at Nottingham

Stake Acclaim – well supported at Nottingham

DEAN IVORY runs six horses today and Stake Acclaim (3.30 Nottingham) and Fancy Flyer (8pm Lingfield) look the pick of the sextet.

The first mentioned is one of five runners in a Conditions event and he’s been well supported into 6/4 favourite to win his second race of the season.  Robert Winston is aboard the son of Shamardal who will appreciate the good to soft ground.  He’s the top-rated in the field and should go very close.

Fancy Flyer has been backed from 5/1 into 11/4 in a 0-60 7f handicap on the all-weather and despite his wide draw, he has place claims at least under 7lb stable apprentice, Luke Bacon.

Lothario has been well supported from double figures into 6/1 at Lingfield in the 7.30, a mile handicap.  His two wins this term have come on the polytrack at Kempton and Chelmsford and he’s not been in the best of form recently, so it’s difficult to make a strong case for him, especially drawn 11 of 12.  Robert Winston is in the saddle.

Nicky Baby has an each-way squeak at 12/1 in the 6.30 at Lingfield under Sophie Ralston while Trust Me (Lewis Edmunds rides) and Soaring Spirits (the mount of Robert Havlin) are both 20/1 shots in the same race at Nottingham (4.30), a 7f handicap.  Both need to improve on recent efforts to have a winning chance.
