Sixty Something – entered for Warwick’s Betfred Classic Chase
SIXTY SOMETHING is one of 18 entries for Warwick’s Saturday showpiece, the £60,000 Grade 3 Betfred Classic Chase.
The Paul Webber-trained Dom Alco gelding, winner of five of his 22 starts, including last time out at Doncaster by 50 lengths, is stepping up in trip to 3m 5f for the first time.
Fortunately, the handicapper did not take his huge margin win at Town Moor over 3m 2f too literally (two of the three market leaders were pulled up) and the 9yo grey has been put up three pounds to 132.
The going is currently Soft which would not be a problem for Sixty Something who is a 12/1 shot for Warwick’s feature race.
