SO, Solario Racing has at last got into text speak, innit? Either that or its Racing Manager has decided to study algebra at the ripe ol’ age of er…ummm, fifty-something!
I can unequivocally state, algebra was never a strong suit at school but somehow I was very fortunate to study PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics) at Oxford a few moons ago.
Last Thursday, two delightful young ladies from the Development Office at my former college paid a visit to Cropredy Lawn with a view to organising an alumni stable tour of Paul Webber’s wonderful 200-acre private training establishment.
Okay, so to put you out of your algebraic misery….St Edmund Hall (Laura Palmer + Kate Townsend) + Paul Webber + Red Cossack = A Good Day Out!

St Edmund Hall, Development Officer, Laura Palmer and Events Manager, Kate Townsend did a recky of Cropredy Lawn last Thursday and were given the full-blown tour of one of the country’s leading training facilities.
Due to the hot weather, Solario Racing’s Red Cossack had gone out onto the gallops early but he showed his swimming prowess in the equine pool for his assembled SEH guests.
The fact-finding mission finished with a photo session with of course….Red Cossack! The poser that he is lapped up the photographic adoration.
Now all he needs to do is make sure his head is in front in any racecourse photo-finish!
