KING’S CONCERTO RECEIVES RADLETT SEAL OF APPROVAL!

Owners toast King’s Concerto

King’s Concerto upsides Amadiva

OWNERS in Solario Racing (Radlett) gathered at Harper Lodge Farm today for the Naming Day of their pride and joy, the exciting 2yo by Thewayyouare x Major Minor and they were delighted with the winning name….King’s Concerto.

By car and by train, the owners from as far afield as Nottinghamshire, came together for the first time and after seeing the chestnut 2yo doing two nice canters on the gallops, the second upsides 3yo filly  Amadiva, it was time to toast the winning name over a glass or two of champagne!

Trainer, Dean Ivory is very pleased with the horse’s progress and informed the owners he would like to take him for a second racecourse gallop in a fortnight’s time before he makes his much awaited debut.

The Naming Day then moved onto Bushey where owners enjoyed a fabulous lunch courtesy of Solario Racing at the renowned St James’ Restaurant, a popular haunt of the late David Johnson, six-times champion owner whose successes included 2008 Grand National Winner Comply Or Die.

While there was no talk of putting King’s Concerto over obstacles, as the wine flowed, there was plenty of discussion about dreaming of running in the UAE Derby following Thewayyouare’s Toast Of New York’s success in the $2 million race this year!

If you would like to get involved in racehorse ownership, have great days out at the racecourse and at the stables and enjoy plenty of Solario Racing hospitality along the way, there are limited 1/12th shares available in King’s Concerto.
