PAUL WEBBER HAS FOUR HORSES ENTERED AT FESTIVAL

Cantlow – 20/1 for the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham

PAUL WEBBER has four horses entered in early closing races at the Cheltenham Festival including old favourite Time For Rupert and the J P McManus-owned Cantlow.

“Rupert” has two Group One entries, the Ryanair Chase on the Thursday and the Gold Cup on the Friday.  The 10yo son of Flemensfirth was fifth in Cheltenham’s blue riband in 2012, beaten just 9 1/2 lengths behind Synchronised.  He is a 100/1 shot for this year’s renewal but is half those odds for the Ryanair.

Cantlow, who was a last-minute non-runner at last year’s Festival due to a nose bleed is also in the Ryanair and is 20/1 with most bookmakers.  The 9yo Kayf Tara gelding has won three times over fences and is officially rated 151.

Cropredy Lawn has two entries on the opening day, Firm Order and Sixtysomething, who are both 50/1 shots in the National Hunt Chase, a Listed race for Amateur Riders.

Solario Racing wishes Paul and the team well as he prepares his squad for national hunt racing’s four-day showpiece.  While we do not have any jumpers in training, we do have a nice flat horse in training with Paul, the 3yo Red Cossack.

“Rebel” or “Lenin” as he is also known is fully subscribed.  However, we have 1/12 shares available in a lovely 2yo by up and coming sire, Thewayyouare which is in training with Dean Ivory, who enjoyed a record season last year.  To arrange a private viewing, please call the Solario Racing Office 0n 01442 877 597 or email info@solarioracing.com.
