SOLARIO RACING’S two syndicate three-year-olds, Chiltern Secret and Gunning For Glory are gearing up for winter campaigns on the all-weather and both horses look in fine shape.
The former enjoyed a summer break out in the paddocks and she has really thrived. She has always been a light filly and Dean Ivory has been keen to put some bulk on her and importantly to keep it on as she steps up her work.
The daughter of Sakhee’s Secret has always been keen to please and she is a popular ride at Harper Lodge Farm. I saw her on the gallops on Friday and she looked very well and as enthusiastic as ever.
Gunning For Glory too looks well and he did a nice canter upsides Amadiva. Eating for him has never really been an issue and he rarely leaves an oat. The Indesatchel gelding will gradually increase his work and the plan is to have both horses out racing next month.
