“Earlier on today, apparently, a woman rang the BBC and said she heard there was a hurricane on the way… well, if you’re watching, don’t worry, there isn’t!”
Er…there was!
I think we can be fairly assured that forecasting over the last 26 years has improved. Let’s hope so as the forecast for Radlett on Sunday 6 October is dry, sunny with temperatures around 18 degrees celcius! Not bad for the time of year and a far cry from October 1987!
Beautifully bred horses will be paraded, trained by Dean Ivory who is enjoying a record season, champagne hospitality will flow and did I mention…the weather will be perfect!
