SUPER SATURDAY TREBLE SOARS DEAN IVORY TO NEW HEIGHTS!

Dean Ivory – enjoying best ever season

DEAN IVORY enjoyed an across the card 41/1 treble today and earned over £60,000 in prize money for his owners to take him to £242k for the season, his best ever season since taking out a licence in 2002.

Sirius Prospect and Tropics both won Listed races over 7f and 6f at York and Newmarket respectively under Robert Winston and Jim Crowley while Lancelot Du Lac completed the treble in a 0-90 6f handicap at Newmarket under Mickael Barzalona.

Today may have been one of the wettest days during what has been a proper English summer and that led to a lot of withdrawals but the Harper Lodge Farm horses relished the conditions.

It was only four weeks ago that Sirius Prospect and Tropics achieved a York double, captured by the Channel 4 cameras and today the former was back on the Knavesmire, winning the first race on Ebor Day, again televised on Channel 4.

Besides being a great day for the yard in terms of prize money, Lancelot Du Lac’s win was Dean’s 30th winner of the year, just three short of his best ever total, achieved in 2007.  It is only a matter of time before that record is broken.

Prize money and winners are two barometers of a successful stable.  The third is strike rate.  Dean’s current strike rate is a very healthy 19% wins to runs ratio.

Has there ever been a better time to join Dean Ivory?
