Red Cossack
RED COSSACK, the really good-moving 2yo son of Rebellion in training with Paul Webber had a temporary hiccup to his training regime last month when he gave a few coughs and had to be put on a course of anti-biotics.
I went up to see him today at Paul’s Cropredy Lawn Stables and it was a full day for this very striking chestnut. He did a good canter, was scoped and then had a swim! He cantered nicely, scoped well (although still a little sign that he’s had inflammation) and swam…swimmingly!
Paul is very sweet on this horse but doesn’t want to do serious work with him until the infection has completely cleared up. So, the plan is good strong canters for a fortnight and then we’ll step him up.
