CHILTERN SECRET IN WARM WINDSOR MAIDEN

Chiltern Secret – runs at Windsor tonight

CHILTERN SECRET, owned by Solario Racing (Latimer) runs tonight at Windsor in a 1m2f maiden and the 8.35 would appear to be a warm contest.

She ran over a mile at the track four weeks ago and was staying on at the end prompting jockey Martin Lane to suggest stepping her up in distance.  While we expect her to improve for the increase in trip, she’s up against some very likely types in the odds on favourite, Ducab, the Stoute-trained Dambuster and Hassle from the Clive Cox yard.  They all have much better form and the winner could well come from one of the trio.

The very capable Steve Drowne is in the saddle and the filly is well drawn in stall one. She’s a big outsider and while we are expecting improvement from a month ago, she’s a filly who will be more at home in handicap company.
