“REBEL’S” CANTER PLEASES WEBBER

“Rebel” at last month’s Gallops Morning

THE Rebellion 2yo, affectionately known for the time being as “Rebel” did his first canter today since arriving at Cropredy Lawn and very much pleased his trainer, Paul Webber.

The horse arrived two weeks ago but en route had his shins freeze-fired as he had been suffering from sore shins, very common among two-year-olds.  He learnt to swim in the equine pool soon after arriving and was ridden this week for the first time.

Today, he did a gentle canter on the all-weather upsides an older horse and Paul remarked: “We’re very pleased with the horse and he moves very well.”

While currently known as Rebel, the 2yo will be named officially next Thursday at Cropredy Lawn when the owners will meet to toast his new name.

There are limited shares still available, so if you wish to get involved, why not arrange a private viewing on the gallops?  Please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 to arrange a suitable date.  In the meantime, do take a look at the footage, taken by Cropredy Lawn’s Chief Cameraman, Paul Webber of “Rebel” on the gallops earlier today.
