GUNNING FOR GLORY WORKS NICELY AT KEMPTON

Gunning For Glory (nearside) working at Kempton

GUNNING FOR GLORY went to Kempton Park yesterday morning for a racecourse gallop and the son of Indesatchel worked well.

He did a spin under jockey Martin Lane over a mile with older horse, Arachnophobia (Zac Baker).  The Spider led the gallop initially and after a couple of furlongs the two joined up and stepped up the pace.  The pair came around the inside rail and finished upsides.

Martin Lane commented that the horse, perhaps not surprisingly was quite green and looking around at everything but he said the horse gave him a nice feel although he’d benefit from racing.

Gunning For Glory has come out of his work in good shape this morning and he will be aimed at a mile maiden at Kempton on Thursday 20 December.

There are still two shares available, so if you wish to get involved in a ready made runner who will be campagined over the winter before having a turf campaign in 2013, please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 to arrange a viewing.
