“INSIDE THE RAILS”, a monthly horse racing podcast recorded its 70th episode last week, over five and half years after its first episode launched in November 2020.
The podcast is co-hosted by yours truly with another industry professional syndicator, Phil Boyle, who runs BG Racing. It is aimed at “horse racing enthusiasts” everywhere and gets published on the first of each month.
During the podcast, Phil and I discuss what’s been going on with our respective syndicate horses, we review and/or preview major race meetings, over the flat or jumps and we discuss current hot news topics within racing.

The second half of the recording comprises an interview with someone from the world of racing, be they a trainer, jockey, broadcaster, clerk of the course, racecourse CEO, bloodstock agent, indeed any racing professional.
Our first guest back in December 2020 was Tom Scudamore while other jockeys, past and present, have included Cieren Fallon, Paul Hanagan, Richard Johnson, Hollie Doyle and Tom Marquand. Trainers have included Amy Murphy, David Pipe, Daniel and Claire Kubler and Gerald Mosse while racing broadcasters and journalists have included Jason Weaver, Lee Mottershead, Rishi Persad, Mike Cattermole and Francesca Cumani.
