Dors Toyboy – bids for back-to-back Chelmsford wins
DORS TOYBOY and ADACE scored at Chelmsford on the same card twenty days ago and they look to repeat the feat tonight in the 5.45 and 6.45 races respectively.
The former was breaking his duck and he did it easily by five lengths over 7f. Today’s mile trip should suit and he has sound each-way claims although will be doing well to beat Lake Sand who beat him at the track earlier last month and is 2lbs better off. The favourite from the Ali Stronge yard looks the one to beat but Jimmy Quinn can still get a tune out of Dors Toyboy who is around a 6/1 shot.
Adace was winning his second time out of three starts over 7f last time out and his first for Dean Ivory. Today’s contest is tougher but he won comfortably and probably has more to offer. At 9/2, he has very solid each-way claims and has Liam Jones in the saddle.
