Yimou – each-way chance at Windsor
YIMOU has been knocking at the door recently with two seconds in his last two starts at Newmarket but today he returns to Windsor over 6f and this dual course winner (once over distance) should go well in the 5.25, a 0-85 handicap over 6f for 3yos and upwards.
The 6yo son of Kodiac is well treated, just a pound below his last winning mark and the ground is Good to Firm, which he loves.
The odds-on favourite, Twilight Madness is a massive danger, going in seek of a four-timer for trainer Simon Hodgson and jockey Hollie Doyle.
Only seven go to post but Yimou, ridden by Robert Havlin, at 7/2 still looks solid each-way and forecast material.
