Sophie Ralston – rides two at Lingfield
SOPHIE RALSTON, the yard’s 5lb claiming apprentice, rides both stables horses today at Lingfield, Nezar in the 7.05 and Charming Kid an hour later in the 8.05.
The former is one of seven runners in a 7f handicap and although the veteran chestnut gelding has been in good form recently, he’s never on polytrack in 27 attempts, so that has to be a concern for the 7/1 shot.
Charming Kid is 5/1 in a five-runner affair over 5f for pro-am lady jockeys and although he has to overcome a 177-day absence, he does have form on the surface. Dean’s normally benefit from a run but he’s quite solid in the market and is well handicapped.
