THE TURF SEASON starts at Doncaster today but the yard has no runners at Town Moor as Librisa Breeze and Badenscoth are non-runners but Broxi runs in the 3.55 at Kempton, making his debut for the stable.
He’s one of 6 runners in the 7f handicap and is the rank 33/1 outsider, probably a reflection of the fact that the yard has been out of form this year. He won twice over the distance at Musselburgh as a juvenile when trained by Keith Dalgleish.
His work at home has been good although it may be he needs a mile these days. The favourite Tawleed is an obvious danger but second in the market, To The Bar has been supported and should go well. Broxi may need his first run for the stable but he should still outrun his big price under George Downing.
