LOTHARIO COULD BE PICK OF CHELSMFORD TRIO

Lothario - each-way chance at Chelmsford

Lothario – each-way chance at Chelmsford

DEAN runs three today at Chelmsford, Lothario (4pm), Mirakuhl (4.30pm) and Tropics (6pm) and the first for these may be the most likely to trouble the judge.

The grey son of Dark Angel win three wins to his name all over a mile on the polytrack, including at Chelmsford.  He is running today over 1m2f and didn’t run badly over the same trip last time out at the Essex track when fifth, beaten just two lengths.  He is well handicapped and has each-way chances at 10/1 under George Downing.

Mirakuhl also runs over 10 furlongs half an hour later in just  her fifth ever race and her second handicap.  The 66/1 shot needs to improve on her last effort if she is to figure today for George Downing.

Veteran sprinter, Tropics keeps attempting to roll back the years but he has struggled this year.  He races in today’s 5f contest off a mark of 90, 13lbs below his last winning mark when successful over course and distance last June.  He’s very weak in the betting at 25/1 and again George Downing rides.
