DADDY’S DAUGHTER is one of three stable runners tomorrow and she could be the pick of the trio when lining up for a 6f handicap at Kempton (4.55pm) under Jason Watson.
The Scat Daddy filly ran better than her finishing position (sixth of twelve) might suggest at the Sunbury track last time out. It was her first time over 6f but she met trouble in the home straight so her performance could be marked up. She’s drawn eight of nine on this occasion and has an each-way shout at 8/1.
George Downing rides Badenscoth and Lordsbridge Boy at Nottingham in the 2.35 and 5.20 respectively. The former will like the 1m2f trip and the soft going and he’s just a pound higher than when he son in the soft at Sandown last year, so he’d have an each-way chance. The latter has never raced on soft going although he has won on Good to Soft. If he handles it, he’d have also have an each-way chance at around 11/2 but the ground is an unknown.
