Lancelot Du Lac – runs at Chelmsford
LANCELOT DU LAC may not be getting any younger and hasn’t won since April 2018 but the 10yo veteran sprinter has a chance to get back on the winning trail in the 5f handicap at Chelmsford tonight (7pm).
He has won three time at the course including twice over course and distance and is drawn nicely tonight, two of ten. In February of this year, he was beaten a short head over Chelmsford’s five furlongs off a pound higher and after a long absence, ran well but needed the run when over 6f at Kempton 16 days ago.
At 10/1, “Lance” looks an each-way look in an admittedly trappy affair. George Downing rides.
