Sophie Ralston – rides Laurentia at Wolves
LAURENTIA, winner of two of her last three starts, seems to be on the upgrade and has a good each-way chance at 4/1 of making it three wins when lining up for the 5.55 at Wolverhampton today.
She is drawn 9 of 12 in the mile handicap which is not great but there is pace in the race which will suit her. Sophie Ralston, who won on her at Lingfield in August is back on board after George Downing rode her last time out.
It’s a tricky contest but if the daughter of Iffraaj can overcome the draw, she should be there or thereabouts with Potters Question and Whatwouldyouknow possibly two of the main dangers.
