THE STABLE sends out two runners today, Daddy’s Daughter and Dors Toyboy (3.35pm and 4pm)both at Yarmouth and both are 20/1 outsiders.
The former is very well handicapped but has not beaten one rival in two starts this summer. She is however, well handicapped and has form on soft going. This is her first run back since a wind op and if that’s worked, she could outrun her price in the mile handicap under George Downing.
Dors Toyboy is having her first handicap on turf (over 7f) and after showing last time out on the all-weather, the grey gelding has been dropped 7lbs. The soft going is a complete unknown. George Downing rides the son of Dark Angel.
