Badenscoth – runs at Goodwood
BADENSCOTH, winner of six of his career starts, runs at Goodwood today in the 4.45, a nine furlong handicap and at last this well-handicapped horse gets his ground.
The going is Heavy, soft in places and the 6yo son of Foxwedge, who loves to get his toe in, should relish conditions under George Downing. The horse is well handicapped, being 2lbs below his win at Sandown last summer when he sluiced up by two-and-a-half lengths.
There are just eight runners in the 0-90 contest and he looks a great each-way play at around 5/1. The main danger and last time out winner at the Festival meeting, course winner, Junkanoo.
