DANCINGINTHEWOODS is on a retrieval mission at Newmarket today (2.40pm) after a disappointing run at the course three weeks ago.
He should strip fitter today in the 0-90 handicap over 7f but would appreciate more rain. He’s a 14/1 shot and looks to have a good each-way chance in a competitive race. Broughtons Gold, who was behind Woody as a a 2yo on the Rowley Mile has improved since and is one of several dangers.
Badenscoth does at last get his ground (Good to Soft) at Newbury (4.45pm) and is a double figure price, around 14/1 with Jim Crowley aboard. He too looks to have a good each-way chance in the 10 furlong handicap.
Finally, Yimou, who wants it quick, also get his ground, Good to Firm, at Doncaster (4.35pm) in a competitive 5f handicap. George Downing rides the 8/1 shot, who also has each-way credentials.
