Lothario – runs at Wolves
LOTHARIO is the stable’s only runner today when lining up for the lucky last at Wolverhampton, a 1m 1 1/2furlong handicap, due off at 8.10pm and this is the longest trip the 6yo grey has encountered.
The son of Dark Angel has won three times over a mile at Kempton, Lingfield and Chelmsford but there is stamina on the dam’s side to suggest he could well cope with today’s new trip.
George Downing rides the outsider of eleven, who is drawn nine and who trades at 50/1. The big price is probably a reflection of the yard being out of form but one has to pop in sooner or later….let’s hope it’s today!
