WHILE the world of racing will be focussed on the Derby meeting at Epsom today, the connections of Gregorian Girl will be probably more concerned with the 7.55 at Yarmouth, a mile handicap.
She should come on for her last outing a fortnight ago when a little disappointing at Kempton (eighth of eleven). The concern is the Good to Firm ground, as she’d prefer a little juice in the ground. It’s an open contest even with just seven runners and the stable runner is a solid 5/1 shot with Sophie Ralston in the saddle.
The stable’s other runner, Alsukar, has less convincing claims. Having her first run in handicap company, the mount of George Downing is a 40/1 shot in the 7.40 at Chelsmford, a mile handicap.
