ALSUKAR is 100/1 to win tonight’s median auction maiden ovewr a mile at Lingfield Park, 7.15pm and his price probably reflects his chance.
He was 11th of 12 on his two only previous starts over the same distance at Windsor and Kempton both last August and he has an absence of 288 days to overcome. The mount of George Downing will find life easier when going handicapping.
The contest according to the betting is a two-horse race between the narrow favourite, Raajin and the second favourite, Orczy with the latter narrowly preferred.
