DOVER LIGHT, the stable’s sole runner today, is a big drifter in the market at Lingfield (4pm).
The 3yo chesnut son of Sir Prancealot is out to 25/1 in the 0-60 mile handicap. This is only his sixth ever run and his second at Lingfield, where he ran well in a median auction maiden back in February when fourth.
He’s stepping up to a mile for the first time and if indeed Lingfield is his track, he could go well but there’s little market confidence behind him. George Downing rides him for the first time in what looks a tricky handicap.
