One Cool Daddy – chances at Wolverhampton
MARTIN DWYERY’S only ride of the day is aboard the stable’s One Cool Daddy at Wolverhampton today (6.10pm) and the booking may be significant.
The former Derby-winning jockey rode the Scat Daddy 4yo in October last year at Kempton, the only time has ridden him and the pair were second. Today’s off two pounds higher mark, providing the step up to 1m 1 1/2furlongs works, the lightly raced One Cool Daddy could be worth a second glance each-way at 8/1.
Half and hour earlier, Nezar lines up for a 7f Apprentice Handicap at Dunstall Park and William Cox takes the ride. The former four times course winner and once over course and distance is not badly treated on his best form but there may be others with credentials such as the favourite, Dragon Sun.
