The 9yo chestnut son of Mastercraftsman has won three times at the course over 6f – 1 mile and today he is one of 11 runners over 6f. Close to a winning mark, he has each-way claims with Sophie Ralston claiming five.
By contrast, Lucymai does not have great course form and is yet to win on a Tapeta surface. She is one of six in the Conditions race over 7f and has a bit to find with her last time out conqueror, Rock On Baileys. A 4/1 shot, Joey Haynes takes the ride.
