LAURENTIA is the stable’s only runner today, one of ten horses who go to post for the 1m2f novice at Lingfield Park (2.10pm), a big step up in distance from her debut.
The 3yo daughter of Iffraaj was a well beaten last of nine on her debut over 6f at Kempton a fortnight ago, so she will need to find massive improvement for the step up in trip to trouble the judge. Sophie Ralston rides the 80/1 shot who will find it easier when handicapping.
This contest looks to be between the market leaders, Dubious Affair, Merry Vale and Opportunist.
