STAKE ACCLAIM has a good opportunity to resume winning ways when one of seven runners in a 0-105 handicap at Lingfield today under Adam Kirby.
The son of Shamardal ran well over 6f under Frankie Dettori just over three weeks ago and the drop back to 5f could well suit.
He is strong in the market, a joint 3/1 favourite and with Adam Kirby back on board (he won on him the only time he has ridden him), the horse should go close.
Soaring Spirits is out of form of late and is a 20/1 chance in a Classified Stakes at the course at 12.30pm. A return to the all-weather could suit under Sophie Ralston but he’s a chancy proposotion at present.
