ONE COOL DADDY is one of two runners today for the stable and he could well go one better in the 2.50 at Kempton than he did last time out when second in a 7f handicap.
Today, he’s back over the same trip and with the run under his belt after a lay-off and drawn one, he should be there or thereabouts under jockey Joey Haynes. He’s solid in the market and at 5/1, looks a sound each-way selection.
The yard’s Fighting Temeraire has Adam Kirby on board at Chelmsford this evening in another 7f handicap, due off at 6.45pm. All his four wins have come on the turf and although his all-weather form is nothing to write home about, he was second off a 6lb higher market at Chelmsford over course and distance, albeit back in 2015. He’d have an each-way squeak at 8/1 in a tricky race to call.
