VILLETTE is the only stable runner today when lining up in the 1.30 at Newmarket today, a 1m2f handicap, a race she won last year and the 5yo bids for a repeat off a 2lb higher mark under Joey Haynes.
She ran better than the bare form of her fourth of five would suggest last time out at Nottingham when she faded over a mile and a quarter. The drop back to a mile should suit as will the soft ground and she is a solid each-way proposition at around 8/1 although Critical Time is a danger in an open race.
