FANCY FLYER is the yard’s sole runner today when lining up in the 5.25 at Kempton, a 6f handicap and the drop down in trip should suit.
He won well two starts ago over 7f at Lingfield on the all-weather and then ran rather too keenly on the turf at the same course nine days ago. So, dropping back to sprinting may well help and with Luke Bacon again in the saddle claiming 7lbs, the 3yo Archipenko gelding has a good each-way chance at around 8/1.
Dangers include the first-time blinkered Almokhtaar, who is having his first run for Kevin Ryan and Turn To Rock, both of whom have been supported in the market.
