Lothario – favourite at Wolves
THE STABLE runs four today, three at Wolverhampton and one at Nottingham and it probably has the best chance of a winner courtesy of Lothario in the 7.40 at Dunstall Park.
The 5yo grey is one of 11 runners in the 1m 1/2furlong handicap and well drawn in four, he has been supported into 3/1 favourite and should at least make the frame under Robert Winston.
Nezar runs in the same race under 7lb claimer Sophie Ralston and although he doesn’t have the raw talent of his stablemate, he has been dropping down the weights and with his jockey’s 7lb claim, he is not without an each-way chance at 14/1.
Classic Charm has also been coming down the handicap and she lines up with ten rivals in another handicap for fillies only over 1m 1/2furlong at Nottingham (8.20pm). A 10/1 chance, she has an each-way squeak under an interesting booking of P J McDonald.
Flashy Flyer is 100/1 for a Novice Median Auction Stakes in the 5.20 at Wolves. Kieran O’Neill rides.
