DADDY’S DAUGHTER TO GO CLOSE IN NOVICE

Robert Winston - rides Daddy's Daughter at Chelmsford

Robert Winston – rides Daddy’s Daughter at Chelmsford

DADDY’S DAUGHTER was up against it in Listed company last time out at Kempton but she should find today’s company easier in a 1m2f Novice race at Chelmsford this evening (8pm).

She won on her debut at Kempton over a mile and if coping with the step up in trip, she should go close under Robert Winston.  The Scat Daddy filly is 5/2 joint-favourite with Kodiac Harbour who looks to be one of her main rivals along with debutante, Desert Sun from the Sir Michaet Stoute yard.

Red Moon Lady makes her debut earlier at Chelmsford (5.30pm) in a 7f novice under Martin Dwyer.  The 3yo Epaulette filly refused to go into the stalls on her intended debut at Kempton in February.  Today, she’s a 50/1 shot and is probably best watched.

Dean has a rare NH runner when The Cruix lines up in a two mile bumper at Huntingdonn (4.55pm).  This well-bred full-brother to US Grade 1 winner, Deauville was fourth on his debut at Fakenham on good ground which he encounters again today.  Paddy Brennan rides the 22/1 shot who would have an each-way squeak in an open bumper.
