Fighting Temeraire – runs at Donny (2.15pm)
FIGHTING TEMERAIRE goes to Doncaster today for the 2.15, a 7f handicap and the son of Invincible Spirit should go close under Martin Dwyer.
He ran well last time out at Nottingham under Franny Norton and now rated 61, he’s two stone lower than when he last won at Newmarket in July 2016.
Of course, horses slip down the weights for a reason – they’re nor running well! However, this 6yo bay gelding has been kept in training and still has ability. He’s been supported into 7/2 and will hopefully reward each-way backers.
