Lucymai – bidding for more Chelmsford glory
LUCYMAI, a four-times winner this year, bids to make it five when lining up for the 7f handicap at Chelmsford tonight, due off at 7.30pm.
She loves the track and the seven furlongs, having won five races over course and distance, including back in August, when she was running off 100, the same mark as today. There are only six runners and two of Lucymai’s opponents are also course and distance winners while the other three have all won over the trip. So, it’s a tricky contest!
The stable runner is around 7/2 in a tight market but with Jack Duern on board (he’s won five times on the mare) she shouldn’t be far away.
