LOTHARIO & KADRIZZI THE PICK OF IVORY SEXTET

Lothario - sound each-way chance at Kempton

Lothario – sound each-way chance at Kempton

THE STABLE runs six horses today and Lothario and Kadrizzi, who are both at Kempton in the 6.30 and 7pm races look the pick of the sextet.

The former ran his best race to date in a mile handicap last time out when second and today over course and distance, despite another wide draw, he should go close under Robert Winston at around 7/2, especially as Global Wonder, who beat him last time is a non-runner.

Kadrizzi has been backed as if defeat is out of the question and is as short as 11/10 in the 7f handicap.  Drawn well in one, he has Jack Duern on board and if money talks, should take the beating.  Blaze Of Hearts, the mount of Robert Winston is in the same race but is weak at 16/1 and has never won on the all-weather.

Villette kicks off proceedings (Kempton, 5pm) and is an easy to back 10/1 shot.  She has won four of her previous 13 starts and only ever seems to win at double figure prices.  The daughter of Sixties Icon didn’t run badly when fifth, beaten two lengths last time out at the Sunbury track over 1m3f.  The drop to 1m2f shouldn’t inconvenience and she has an each-way chance with regular pilot, Rob Hornby aboard.

Six Strings makes his stable debut in the apprentice handicap at Chelmsford (5.45pm) and Paddy Bradley, claiming three pounds, is aboard the 20/1 shot who is badly drawn in 11 of 12.

Lordsbridge Boy is improving with racing and is an interesting each-way chance at 10/1 in the 6.45 at Chelmsford. under Tom Queally.
