Eirene – supported at Donny
DEAN saddles both Eirene and Librisa Breeze today at Doncaster in the Listed Wentworth Stakes (2.05pm) on the final day of the 2018 turf season.
Robert Winstson, as usual, is on board Librisa who has been disappointing this season but who on last year’s form would be a major threat to all today. He is fairly solid in the market at 11/2 and there’s no doubt the soft ground will be a big help.
Eirene, the mount of Jm Crowley, will also like the ground and has come in for significant support. Halved in price from earlier in the week, the filly trades at around 8/1 and she should run a big race over the six furlong trip.
It would be good for the yard to finish the turf on a high, so good luck to connections of both horses.
