LUCYMAI runs in the 2.25 at Lingfield to day on the all-weather in a Listed race over a mile and connections are hoping she can get some black type to her name.
Six of her seven wins have been over 7f and of those, five have been at Chelmsford so there is a doubt over today’s mile trip. However, she’s the second highest rated horse in the race on 103, one pound below the favourite, Move Swiftly, the William Haggas horse who is the hot 11/10 favourite. Lucymai, the mount of Jack Duern, is 20/1 so she looks overpriced for each-way purposes.
Later on the card at 3.40pm, Dean runs Ivory Star, who is the 150/1 outsider in the fillies’ novice stakes over 7f. Also the mount of Jack Duern, she will have easier opportunities.
