Blaze Of Hearts – runs at Nottingham
EIRENE runs today at Maisons-Laffitte, in a Group 3 but it may be at Nottingham for the more likely Ivory winner, courtesy of Blaze Of Hearts.
The 3yo 103-rated filly is one of 12 runners in the Prix De Seine-Et-Oise over 6f, due off at 1.35pm. She will appreciate the soft ground and the drop back to 6f but she has to improve to beat higher rated horses such as Inns Of Court, the most likely winner and The Right Man. The excellent Maxim Guyon is in the saddle.
Five minutes later, Blaze Of Hearts seeks to secure back-to-back victories when lining up for the 1m 1/2 furlong handicap at Nottingham under Robert Winston. He bolted up recently at Brighton and with ground conditions, Good To Firm, in his favour, he may well follow up. Currently 7/1, he’s overpriced.
