ANGEL’S WINDSOR FORM GIVES HER EACH-WAY CHANCE

Angel Of The South (nearside) returns to Windsor

ANGEL OF THE SOUTH has run three times at Windsor and her form figures of 223 should stand her in good stead for her return to the track tonight in the 7.30, a 5f handicap.

Although a dual winner on the all-weather, she is rated 77 on both turf and all-weather and she should run well after a 161 day break.  It’s a competitive eight-runner 0-80 sprint but the Dark Angel filly is lightly raced and has further scope for improvement.  She’s a massive price at 9/1 and has solid each-way claims under Robert Winston.  Dangers include Harry Hurricane and Tylery Wonder.

Dean also saddles Dark Mystique at the Berkshire track in the second race on the card, a 16-runner 6f maiden, due off at 6pm.  From the first crop of Sea The Moon, she’s bred to get further and will have easier opportunities than this evening.  Jack Duern rides the 66/1 shot.
