Yuga Kawada – rides Tangramm for Dean Ivory
DEAN IVORY sends Tangramm to Wolverhampton tonight (7.10pm) for a 1m 1 1/2f handicap and he has booked one of Japan’s top three jockeys, Yuga Kawada to ride.
The horse has a fine record of three wins and of never having been out of the first three over course and distance, so hopefully he can bounce back to form and give Yuga his second win since arriving in Britain earlier this summer.
The heir apparent to Yutake Take is staying with Roger Varian for 6 – 8 weeks and he rode a winner for the Newmarket trainer at Redcar two days ago.
Tangramm is a Wolverhampton specialist, particularly over today’s trip and although he has the Prescott, hotpot, Grey Spirit to beat, he should run his race and has an each-way chance at 10/1.
