VENA D’AMORE so nearly won at Nottingham on her penultimate start when seemingly enjoying the soft ground and she returns to the track today for a 5f novice at 2.10pm.
Today’s going is Good, so the Exceed and Excel filly, out to 20/1, would ideally prefer more cut in the ground. Either way, she is unlikely to beat the favourite, Poetry from the Michael Bell yard. Robert Winston rides.
The other stable runner, also at Nottingham, in the 2.45, is Lordsbridge Boy, who showed little and hung on his debut. Martin Dwyer rides the 50/1 shot who is probably best watched today in a six-runner novice.
