HARLEQUIN STRIKER is one of two stable runners at Salisbury today and if he copes with the 1m2f trip on heavy going, he should run well in the 5.20.

The 74-rated Bahamian Bounty six-year-old is reasonably treated and copes with cut in the ground but he does need to prove his stamina on what will be very testing ground.

Eight go to post, Robert Winston rides and he’s a fair 10/3 shot in an open-looking tricky contest.

Penniesfromheaven runs earlier in the afternoon in a 5f conditions stakes (2pm) and after two good placed efforts on the all-weather, the juvenile grey filly needs to prove she too can cope with conditions.  If she does, 14/1 is a fair each-way price.  Jack Duern rides.
