T is the letter of the day at Kempton with Tangramm and Tropics the two stable runners and though 20/1 and 11/1 shots, they both have chances if putting their best foot forward.
The former is one of 14 runners in the 2.55, a 1m2f handicap. The seven-times winner is on a winning mark and was only beaten a length when fourth last time out. That was without the usual cheek-pieces. This time they’re back on, so he could go well at a big price under Pat Cosgrave. Exceeding Power is a danger, as is the favourite, Ply.
Tropics has not really shown a lot of form this year but has dropped accordingly and is now on a mark of 92 for the 4.25, a 6f handicap. Jack Duern claims an additional three pounds and maybe a return to the all-weather will help as he won his maiden at Kempton back in 2012. Seeking Magic and Jaywalker look two of his major threats.
