BADENSCOTH came from last to first to win on his handicap debut at Kempton for stable apprentice Jack Duern and to the delight of his owner/breeder Peter J Skinner, who was on hand to see his 3yo’s success.
The 12/1 shot was given a great ride by Jack, who was claiming three pounds in the mile handicap and despite greenness, the Foxwedge gelding won by 3/4 length. He should win again and is one to note during the rest of this season.
Kadrizzi ran a great race at the weights to be second in a 6f Conditions event at Chelmsford while Stake Acclaim was undone by Good To Firm going at Windsor and Doncaster when third and fifth respectively.
A horse to note for the future is I’m Right On Time, who showed promise on his debut yesterday at Wolverhampton under Jack Duern in a 1m4f maiden at Wolverhampton.
